Frequently Asked Questions about Iraq eSIM
How soon will I get it?
After payment, we will send the installation QR code to the email address you provided on the checkout page, usually within a few minutes. Please make sure the email address is correct. If you do not receive it after 30 minutes, please check your spam folder first, then contact us.
When do the days start counting?
The billing period starts when the eSIM first connects to the local network, not from the moment of purchase. Each subsequent 24-hour period marks a new cycle, with the daily high-speed data resetting at the beginning of each cycle.
Therefore, purchasing and installing the eSIM before your trip will not consume any days.
Is "unlimited" really unlimited?
No. Every day there is a high-speed data allowance (e.g., 1GB/day). After it's used up, your internet connection won't be cut off for the rest of the day, but the speed will be throttled. High speeds will resume the next day.
This is a common fair usage policy in the industry. When choosing a plan, just pick one that matches your actual daily usage.
When should I install it?
It is recommended to install the eSIM before departure while you have a stable Wi-Fi connection. The installation itself will not trigger billing. Billing for days will only start when you activate data roaming upon arrival in Iraq.
The eSIM remains valid for the first network connection within 30 days of installation.
Can I set up a hotspot to share with others?
Yes. Hotspot sharing is supported, and laptops, tablets, and companions can all connect.
Can I add days once I've started using it?
It is currently not possible to add more days to an existing eSIM, so please purchase enough days when placing your order.
If you do run out, you can purchase a new eSIM.
Will my phone work with it?
Recent iPhones and mainstream Android flagships generally support this. On the purchase page, there is a "Check device compatibility" button where you can search for your specific model.
Additionally, please confirm that your phone is not carrier-locked.
